Cute circular cottage adjacent to the beach, absolutely tranquil. Very friendly and helpful staff. White sandy beach, clear water, good surf. Restaurant features friendly waiters, rich menus, excellent coffee

Great restaurant with good food and services and a great location that offers quick access onto an amzing beach.
The sea is a bit rough in the area but stii great to take a quick dip.

The units are on the beach and you can experience tranquility.
Watch the local fisherman fish and buy fish, prawns and much more straight of the boat.( fresh an still alive )
I read some reviews that complained about security, service and that the surf fishing is bad.
From my first hand experience I would like to correct those people, it was our first time in Mozambique.
1. Security was excellent and patrolled the area very well they kept a close eye ony belongings and on my family be it day or night.
2. Service and food was great, remember good food takes time to prepare especially when making it from scratch.
3. Fishing off the surf was though at first and at one point I almost gave up but the locals are so friendly and helpful, they actually thought me their way of surf fishing and guess what, i caught fish off the surf.
Remember if you are coming from an up market home and want to experience the true island rustic comfortable lifestyle then this place is for you.
My family enjoyed every second of it.

An absolute gem with a beautiful chalet on the beach. Alberto was an amazing host with such a passion for making us feel so welcome. We had a blast at an affordable rate. Thanks so much for a memorable experience!!
We passed Macaneta at 08h30 and needed breakfast. We stopped at Macaneta Brach Resort, and they immediately tried to help us and made us feel welcome. Thank you for a delicious breakfast. Rained a lot but this plece is still beautiful.
This place is worth a visit. The rooms were very clean and big. Staff was amazing. They helped us with everything we needed and requested. The view is beautiful. Enjoyed Kayaking.
